    Connecting Dome Tent for Banquet/Reception

Connecting Dome Tent with Walkway Tunnel

Recently, Glitzcamp has designed a connecting dome to enrich its product lines. And this new design has been put into practical use at present.

Glitzcamp tactfully connects three individual spherical tents with walkway tunnels. Each glamping tent is a complete self-contained dome house in itself, and links to each other by channels. This design creates a larger overall indoor activity space. What’s more, there is no support inside the domes, so you can freely design the indoor space according to your ideas.

Multi Purposes Dome House for Campsite/Resort

Such a connected structure is very suitable for a camp or resort to become a multi-purpose tent. In this project, the large ball with a diameter of 8 meters served as a dining hall. And place a ring-shaped wooden table so that the connecting dome can accommodate more people to take a meal.

The small domes on both sides serve as a rest area, which can be used as a supplementary space for the restaurant area or as an entertainment area, providing a space for people to talk about.

Especially on rainy days, people can enter various tents at any time through the pedestrian tunnel, and carry out various activities in this space, such as eating, watching TV, reading books, chatting, playing games and so on, without wasting a minute.

All about the Connecting Dome Tent for Banquet/Reception.

    Free-standing Interior Space

Such a construction is totally free-standing, without any column or obstacle inside the domes. So you can place any equipment you need or you want to fill in the empty living space, just like you dream of.

For example, you can use a larger dome for reception rooms or entertainment areas. The smaller domes serve as a small library for children, or a parent-child play area if you prefer. You can follow your mind to create your own campsite.

In addition, to fit the theme of some resorts and camps, we also provide printing service of our geodome tents.

    1. How long will it last?

Our Eco living domes’ lifespan can be over 15 years if looked after as per our recommendations. They are made of strong aluminum alloy and quality glass. They are even strong enough to handle high winds and heavy rain as well. Additionally, you can store in a dry clean warehouse to extend its lifespan if you don’t use it for a while.

    2. Do I need planning permission for the dome?

The domes are classified as temporary structures, so it is arguable that you do not need planning permission, especially if you decide to take them down over the winter period. However, every planning department is different and you may need consent for a change of use for the land the tent is placed on. You must check this with your local planning office or ask a planning consultant to do this on your behalf.

    3. How is the dome ventilated?

Our domes are designed with ventilation in mind. The roof, door, round windows, and portions of the sidewalls can be replaced with screens. If your environment doesn't allow for screens, due to excessive rain fall, we recommend using a solar fan to aid in ventilation.

    4. How do I install a wood stove in it?

There are a number of wood burning stoves and fitting kits we would recommend. You can do this by yourself, if you are happy you won’t wreck your new tent. However, there are fitting services available too.
