Customized Connectable Event Domes in The Ski Resort
Update Your Campsite with Connectable Event Domes
In order to upgrade the tourism ecology of the ski area and provide a variety of possibilities for the accommodation surrounding services of the Winter Olympics, and to create a new lifestyle that belongs to the ski resort, the following tent design of connectable event domes is available.
According to the customer’s existing budget, combined with the customer’s needs, and considering the extremely cold environment of snow storage in the area for more than 150 days, Glitzcamp designed a unique “triple connectable dome” for it.
15+8+8m Geodesic Dome Tent for Multi Purposes
The size of the sphere is 8 meters + 15 meters + 8 meters in diameter. Among them, two smaller ball tents, one provides meal service for guests living next to the hotel, and the other provides coffee or other drinks for guests; the middle diameter is In the 15-meter fixed ball, a 12-meter dome is installed and is equipped with a projection system to provide visitors with immersive 3D movies. The remaining space can provide guests with humanized services such as storing bags or changing shoes.
The dome also provides air conditioning and floor heating around the clock to prevent the equipment from working in extreme weather. Whether it is cold and long in winter, dry and windy sand in spring, or hot and short precipitation in summer, this place can provide a recreational place for tourists to shelter from the wind, rain and snow!
Free-standing Interior Space
Such a construction is totally free-standing, without any column or obstacle inside the domes. So you can place any equipment you need or you want to fill in the empty living space, just like you dream of.
For example, you can use a larger dome for reception rooms or entertainment areas. The smaller domes serve as a small library for children, or a parent-child play area if you prefer. You can follow your mind to create your own campsite.
In addition, to fit the theme of some resorts and camps, we also provide printing service of our geodome tents.

How long will it last?
Our Eco living domes’ lifespan can be over 15 years if looked after as per our recommendations. They are made of strong aluminum alloy and quality glass. They are even strong enough to handle high winds and heavy rain as well. Additionally, you can store in a dry clean warehouse to extend its lifespan if you don’t use it for a while.
Do I need planning permission for the dome?
The domes are classified as temporary structures, so it is arguable that you do not need planning permission, especially if you decide to take them down over the winter period. However, every planning department is different and you may need consent for a change of use for the land the tent is placed on. You must check this with your local planning office or ask a planning consultant to do this on your behalf.
How is the dome ventilated?
Our domes are designed with ventilation in mind. The roof, door, round windows, and portions of the sidewalls can be replaced with screens. If your environment doesn't allow for screens, due to excessive rain fall, we recommend using a solar fan to aid in ventilation.
How do I install a wood stove in it?
There are a number of wood burning stoves and fitting kits we would recommend. You can do this by yourself, if you are happy you won’t wreck your new tent. However, there are fitting services available too.
