Dia.6m Dome Hotel for Glamping Accommodation
Glamping Dome Hotel for Mountain Resort
Recently, Glitzcamp has set up a luxury glamping resort in Myogi-Yama, Japan. With an advantaged location, this mountain resort possesses a beautiful view of Myogi-yama. You can enjoy the stunning landscape in nature.
The natural environment is the basis for determining the success of a camp. Equally importantly, an attractive and comfortable accommodation is also a key factor for the glamping business. With this in mind, Glitzcamp has elaborately designed dia.6m glamping dome hotels for glamping accommodation.
Excellent Choice for Family or Small Group Stay
After listening to our client’s needs, this time we didn’t divide the dome hotel into a bedroom and a bathroom as usual, but into a luxury and cozy living space for 4 people stay. So how to take a shower? Don’t worry. There is a public bath in the camp for people’s cleaning.
Inside the tent, there are 4 single beds for people to sleep well. In front of the transparent window, a small coffee table is placed there. When the sun rises, it is the best viewing corner indoors. Similarly, when the night falls, it is also perfect for gazing the stars, especially where an astronomical telescope is kindly prepared. Even better, family and friends can enjoy the scenery together, not just alone.
Custom Solution of Geodesic Dome Tent
In this project case, we work our turn-key solution with our custom design according to practical situations. Because this glamping resort is located on a mountain, it's necessary to build a temperature control system.
Considering that the temperatures may be below 0°C in winter, Glitzcamp particularly provides custom-made geodesic dome tents with insulated layer for the owner. Even you can fit a stove inside the tent to warm the whole room. We could give you the installation guidance step by step.
In addition to the insulated layer, we also offer a wide selection of tarpaulin materials and colors. For example, in this glamping resort in Japan, we use the PVDF membrane of cream color to cover the whole framework of geodome tents.

How long will it last?
Our Eco living domes’ lifespan can be over 15 years if looked after as per our recommendations. They are made of strong aluminum alloy and quality glass. They are even strong enough to handle high winds and heavy rain as well. Additionally, you can store in a dry clean warehouse to extend its lifespan if you don’t use it for a while.
Do I need planning permission for the dome?
The domes are classified as temporary structures, so it is arguable that you do not need planning permission, especially if you decide to take them down over the winter period. However, every planning department is different and you may need consent for a change of use for the land the tent is placed on. You must check this with your local planning office or ask a planning consultant to do this on your behalf.
How is the dome ventilated?
Our domes are designed with ventilation in mind. The roof, door, round windows, and portions of the sidewalls can be replaced with screens. If your environment doesn't allow for screens, due to excessive rain fall, we recommend using a solar fan to aid in ventilation.
How do I install a wood stove in it?
There are a number of wood burning stoves and fitting kits we would recommend. You can do this yourself, if you are happy you won’t wreck your new tent. However, there are fitting services available too.
